Magazine covers working progress

This was my design for the title used in my magazine covers.

This was me editing an image that was transported from the camera and straight to photoshop.

This is one of the images that I used in my magazine front covers. I saved most of them in my graphics folder.

This is my graphics folder. It contains my front covers and most of my images needed.

This was the 1st front cover without the main image. The reason why it doesn't have the main image is because I wanted to fit all of the text e.g. mastheads, Title, sub heading etc.

For the magazines title, the word 'magazine' was placed underneath the words 'rock' and 'vibe'. This made the main title look more appealing and interesting because 'rock' and 'vibe' look like they are carrying the word 'magazine'.

Stencil Spray - Cut Out

This post is where we had to create a Stencil and spray it with ink and then use photoshop to change the colours.

This screenshot shows where I added in some paint splats to give more interest to the image, by this point I had already coloured the other layers.

Parody design

For this task I had to find a famous painting and create my own parody of it. In this case I chose to do the American Gothic and change it so that it shared the same semantic field as my magazine.
